Gia Havener has been playing the organ for worship since she
was twelve years old. Her roots are in Massachusetts, where she
trained at Berklee School of Music and at the New England Conservatory. She spent most of her adulthood in SW Florida managing, with her late husband, several music
stores and doing tours to promote new lines of organs. She has been meaningfully involved with Peace since 2007. Still teaching piano, Gia has two sons and
two granddaughters.
Damaris Luna is a child development specialist, who serves as co-director of Kids R Kids, daycare in Lakewood Ranch during the week. On Sundays she provides excellent care for the youngest participants at Peace. With three teenagers of her own and a husband employed by Out of Door Academy, Damaris understands the needs of families.
